Created for Youth America Grand Prix’s signature “Stars of Today Meet the Stars of Tomorrow” Gala, this promotional film celebrated one of the organization’s most iconic traditions — bringing the next generation of exceptional young dancers together on stage with internationally acclaimed artists from the world’s leading ballet companies.
Developed as part of the digital marketing campaign for the gala, the film was released across YAGP’s media platforms to promote the event and connect audiences with the history and significance behind the performance.
Rather than creating a traditional event advertisement, the concept honored the organization’s 25-year legacy. Working from decades of archival performance footage, I reviewed, organized, and curated historic moments from past gala performances in collaboration with artistic leadership, selecting material that represented the evolution, impact, and global reach of YAGP.
The final film blended archival storytelling, cinematic pacing, music editing, and motion design to showcase the unique relationship between rising young artists and the professional dancers who once stood in their place — celebrating a continuous cycle of inspiration, mentorship, and artistic excellence.

Created for Youth America Grand Prix’s milestone 25th anniversary season, this campaign film celebrated the history, influence, and global impact of one of the world’s leading ballet institutions.
Built around the idea of legacy, the film traced YAGP’s evolution from its earliest years to the present day, highlighting the generations of dancers whose journeys began on the competition stage and continued into professional careers with many of the world’s most renowned ballet companies.
Using decades of archival footage, I worked closely with artistic leadership to identify and curate significant moments from YAGP’s history — weaving together performances, alumni achievements, and defining milestones into a cinematic timeline that honored both the organization’s past and its continued influence on the future of dance.
The visual language was developed specifically for the anniversary season, combining archival storytelling, custom motion graphics, and contemporary design elements to bridge YAGP’s history with its ongoing global presence.

Built around the concept of YAGP as a bridge between a dancer’s potential and their future, the film combined cinematic imagery, motion graphics, archival performances, and organizational milestones to illustrate the journey from student artist to internationally recognized professional.
The visual narrative incorporated key statistics, global reach, and celebrated alumni stories, highlighting the thousands of dancers impacted by YAGP and the artists who have gone on to perform with many of the world’s leading ballet companies.
Designed as a long-term brand piece rather than a single event advertisement, the film became part of YAGP’s digital identity across its online platforms — serving as an introduction to the organization, its history, and its continuing influence on the next generation of dance.
